What We Do
Our Mission
An Army of One Today, an Army of Many Tomorrow
One Guy. One Promise. Infinite Heroes.
It’s just me. No office, no staff—just one person driven by determination to make a difference.
Last summer, I brought our first amputee soldier, Valik, and his spouse, Lesya, from Ukraine to Turkey. For one week, they experienced something they hadn’t felt in years: peace, freedom, and time together to truly breathe. They enjoyed being loved, pampered, and cared for in a way they so deeply deserved.
Now, everything is ready for the next step—bringing four more heroes and their families to Turkey this March for two weeks of healing, adventure, and hope. They’ll experience the sea, mountains, and the warmth of our Turkish volunteers. They’ll paraglide, visit cultural landmarks, and most importantly, have a chance to reconnect with themselves and their loved ones.
Meanwhile, I’m searching for an American hero to invite—a veteran who deserves to be appreciated, loved, and cared for while meeting combat brothers from Ukraine. This connection will foster a powerful sense of camaraderie and solidarity, transcending borders and shared sacrifices.

Turning Vision into Reality for Our Heroes
Wings4Heroes was born from a single moment of inspiration. About two years ago, I saw a young woman, a teenage soldier, walk onto a stadium field with a prosthetic leg, facing tens of thousands of people. She shared her story with courage and conviction, describing how, after losing her leg, she fought not just for survival but for dignity and purpose. She reminded us all that while an enemy might take a leg, they can never take her spirit—or break the will of those defending freedom.
I knew then that if she could stand strong and unbroken, I had to do something to support heroes like her. For over two years, I searched for a place, a team, and a way to make this vision a reality—a place where soldiers who’d sacrificed so much could experience the freedom of flight, a way to help them soar beyond their injuries and challenges.
Finally, through persistence and the help of dedicated friends, it began to come together. My friend and experienced pilot, Hamit, joined the mission with unwavering commitment to ensuring these heroes could safely experience the joy of paragliding. Around the same time, the governor of Zakarpattia, Viktor Mikita, believed in our mission and introduced me to Azov Angels. Their support led us to our first hero, Valik, marking the beginning of Wings4Heroes.
But none of this would have been possible without Harun, my right hand through it all. Harun made Valik’s experience so authentic and meaningful, going above and beyond to ensure every detail reflected the respect and gratitude these heroes deserve. From day one, Harun has been with me every step of the way, and his dedication to this mission continues to inspire me.
Together, we’re building something extraordinary—not for ourselves, but for the heroes who sacrificed everything.

Wings4Heroes is a mission-driven public service corporation dedicated to empowering Ukrainian amputee soldiers and U.S. veterans. Through paragliding and adventure activities in Turkey, we help these heroes rediscover joy, resilience, and the freedom to dream again.
We’re here to create a space for healing, camaraderie, and purpose—lifting them beyond their challenges and reminding them that their courage knows no limits.

At Wings4Heroes, we are committed to empowering amputee soldiers and veterans to rediscover joy, resilience, and freedom. Through transformative experiences like paragliding and adventure activities, we provide a space for healing, camaraderie, and renewed purpose.
We’re excited to announce that our mission is now stronger than ever. We’ve added a physical therapist to our team, ensuring that our heroes not only experience emotional and mental healing but also receive professional support for their physical recovery. This is about more than adventure—it’s about holistic care for those who’ve given so much.
Why We Do This
Many of our heroes have endured unimaginable challenges, both on the battlefield and in their daily lives. Yet, their courage remains unbroken. Wings4Heroes was created to remind them that they are not alone and to give them the tools to rise above their circumstances.
With the support of a dedicated team—including experienced pilots, compassionate volunteers, and now a physical therapist—we’re helping these heroes soar beyond their limits.

We’ve set everything in motion for our next mission. Four heroes and their families are ready to join us for two weeks of healing and adventure in Turkey, where they’ll experience:
